Helena Cordeiro Martínez

Helena Cordeiro Martínez holds a degree in Translation and Interpreting and a Master’s degree in Multimedia Translation, both from the University of Vigo. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Communication and teaches in the Department of Translation and Linguistics at the University of Vigo. She is a member of the research group Literatura Infantil y Juvenil Anglogermana y su Traducción. Her doctoral research focuses on audiovisual translation, with a particular interest in the subtitling into English of swear words in Spanish productions.
