iLingua has its own multidisciplinary space for research, administration and academic work in the Faculty of Philology and Translation (FFT) at the University of Vigo (approximately 120 m²), equipped with a communications network and computer systems that support the work of early-career, postdoctoral and visiting researchers, as well as the organization of meetings, seminars and research workshops. Users must first be registered by research staff affiliated to iLingua using the form available at Registration of users of iLINGUA’s spaces – Complete the form. The users already registered through this form do not have to register again. Those registered will pick up the keys to room 9 (2nd floor, Newton Pavilion) at the FFT concierge desk. Its location in the Newton Pavilion of the FFT provides access to the Language and Cognition Laboratory facilities, which include state-of-the-art neurocognitive exploration tools (including an electroencephalograph, near-infrared spectroscopy, and two eye-tracking systems), as well as a soundproof booth. In terms of software and electronic resources, iLingua has both internal and external tools, including dictionaries, XML editors, data processing programs, multilingual corpora and linguistic databases, both developed in-house and externally sourced.
