I am a PhD candidate in Linguistics at the Universidade de Vigo. My research focuses on language ideologies and identity construction in multilingual settings, with particular attention to personal identity and the impact of family language policy and broader social factors on language learning and use. My current project examines internationally adopted individuals born in China and raised in Spain, investigating how they negotiate their relationship with their birth language in adulthood and which family, educational, and social factors shape their relearning trajectories. I also have professional experience teaching Mandarin and developing learning materials for Spanish-speaking learners.
