I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Ciencias da Linguaxe e Estudos Literarios, with a specialization in the languages branch, as well as a Master’s degree in Lingüística Aplicada from the University of Vigo. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Estudos Lingüísticos at the same university.
My research is focused on the phonetic level of language. During my master’s studies, I worked on the sociolinguistic analysis of Spanish spoken in Galicia, specifically in the Vigo area. At present, I am studying the phonetic component and its possible alterations in individuals suffering from mental illness. In addition, I collaborate in the Laboratorio de Linguaxe e Cognición on the research projects conducted there.
