She holds a degree in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Vigo, with exchanges at Bangor University (United Kingdom) and Western Sydney University (Australia), as well as a Advanced Diploma in Sign Language Interpreting. She has a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics from the universities of Vigo, A Coruña and Santiago de Compostela. She has worked for CORALSE, Justisigns2, Linkterpreting and SignaMed projects and has been working as an interpreter since 2012. She belongs to the BIFEGA group and is a PhD candidate in the International Doctoral Programme in Translation & Paratranslation, conducting research on interpreting for deaf women in contexts of gender-based violence.
