The seminar “As linguaxes da memoria: memoria e imaxe” will be held on Thursday with the support of the Lingua Research Institute (iLingua) and the FIFA Department.
This seminar is the first in a series that aims to reflect on the codes that underlie the expression of events that make up our “memory”. With the image as the protagonist and led by visual artist Mar Caldas and BBC filmmaker Maurice Fitzpatrick, the seminar will explore a wide range of languages (from photographic collage and installation to filmic works and documentary) that articulate the narratives of public and private memory in their works.
