My research trajectory focuses on the study of emotions and interpersonal relationships from an interdisciplinary perspective that encompasses linguistics, neurolinguistics, and psycholinguistics, with a particular focus on social and embodied cognition. This approach has allowed me to explore how linguistic, cognitive, emotional, and bodily processes interact in human communication, highlighting the role of linguistics in the expression, regulation, and understanding of emotions in social contexts.

Within this line, I am delving into the analysis of pragmatics, investigating how people use linguistic strategies to interpret attitudes and intentions, manage conflicts, and build emotional bonds. My work examines phenomena such as interjections and the professional use of verbs, emphasizing their relevance in emotional regulation within social interactions. Likewise, I integrate the embodied perspective to analyze how emotions manifest in the body, in interaction with linguistic processes.

In the field of neurolinguistics and psycholinguistics, I have worked on identifying the cognitive and neural mechanisms underlying the production and comprehension of emotional language, using experimental methods. These investigations have contributed to a deeper understanding of how the brain processes language in conflict situations and how this influences interpersonal relationships.

Overall, my research provides an integrative perspective on the interaction between linguistics, emotions, and cognition, with applications in areas such as conflict mediation, emotional education, and interpersonal communication.
