Inmaculada Anaya Revuelta

PhD in Philology and Extraordinary Doctorate Award from the Complutense University of Madrid, with the thesis “Las denominaciones ictionímicas: estudio semántico del prototipo”. Professor of Spanish Language at the University of Vigo (1999). Coordinator of the Master’s Degree in Language and Communication in Business (LyC), from 2010 to 2014. The academic profile is based on four axes: teaching, research, transfer and management. In research, two lines: Lexicography and Discourse Analysis, especially political discourse. I have published numerous articles and a book in high impact journals and publishers. I have participated in high impact projects and have attended as a speaker at numerous national and international conferences. Currently, I collaborate as an expert in the Diccionario Histórico de la Lengua Española (DHLE) of the RAE. As for knowledge transfer, since 2004, I have been a collaborating partner in the Círculo de Empresarios de Galicia, for training and linguistic consultancy tasks for companies and institutions. For more than 10 years she has been collaborating with the Instituto de Comunicación Empresarial (ICE) and the Escuela Next Educación, both directed by Manuel Campo Vidal. As an expert in communication, in the last 25 years I have given more than 50 workshops and seminars in companies and institutions such as ALTRAN, ALDESA, TSOLAR, PESCANOVA, ZONA FRANCA, GAMESA, Hospital VITHAS, P&A, ESADE Barcelona, ICE, Colegio de Ingenieros de Caminos, Canales y Puertos, etc. As a language consultant I have worked for ARTAI and Cadena SER Vigo, among others.In 2017 collaborator and editor of the Catalog of fish published by CONXEMAR on the occasion of its centenary. At the management level, I have developed several positions (secretary of the Faculty, secretary of the Department of Spanish Language, vice-dean of Planning and, currently, vice-dean of Communication, Recruitment and Diversity in the Faculty of Philology and Translation of the University of Vigo since February 2020. Since July 2014 I am a member of the CGIACA (ACSUG).
