Aquilino Santiago Alonso Núñez

Aquilino Santiago Alonso Núñez read his doctoral thesis (A fala de Castrelo do Val) at the University of Santiago de Compostela. He is a tenured lecturer at the University of Vigo. He collaborated in the development of secondary school textbooks (for 4th year of Compulsory Secondary Education, 1st and 2nd year of Baccalaureate). He has published research related to phonetics, phonology, diminutives, inflectional and lexical morphology, etymology, linguistic geography, Galician dialectology, linguistic changes in the Galician-Portuguese dialectal continuum and 20th century Galician narrative. As well as being a member of the GID educational innovation group, she collaborated in work on linguistic mediation.
