It was at the University of Vigo where his passion for sign languages was sparked and nurtured. He has contributed to the publication of various didactic materials for teaching and learning Spanish Sign Language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He was the academic director of <em>Biblioteca de Signos<\/em>, a web portal of the <em>Biblioteca Virtual Miguel de Cervantes<\/em>, where all content\u2014both linguistic and literary\u2014is presented in sign language. He also coordinated the bilingual educational program ABC in the Region of Murcia, a pioneering initiative that provides full access to bilingual secondary education for deaf students.
