I obtained my PhD in Hispanic Philology with a work on the expression of quantification in Spanish Sign Language (LSE), the first thesis to be defended at a Spanish University on a specific grammatical aspect of LSE. My research work is mainly focused on the field of Spanish Sign Language and Spanish as a foreign language.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I belong to the ESTILOS research group (https:\/\/portalcientifico.uvigo.gal\/grupos\/17835\/detalle) and I mainly develop my activity in the Spanish language and signed languages subgroup of the University of Vigo, GRILES; I have participated as a full-time researcher in several projects associated with this research group.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br\/>In recent years I have worked primarily on the development of the first reference corpus of Spanish sign language, CORALSE, a fundamental tool for advancing scientific and linguistic knowledge of LSE. From this project I have published scientific papers focusing both on the design of the corpus and on the analysis of (socio)linguistic and educational issues based on data from the CORALSE corpus.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have also carried out research on linguistic issues related to the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language and as L2 for deaf people and to the grammatical description of LSE.<br\/>As far as my teaching work is concerned, I teach Spanish Language in undergraduate courses at the Faculties of Communication and Education and Sport Sciences, and I teach several subjects in the field of Spanish Sign Language, both in the Degree in Applied Philology and in the Sign Language Module of the Inter-University Master&#8217;s Degree in Applied Linguistics, where we have trained numerous students who have subsequently developed their research activity in the GRILES group.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":73,"menu_order":230,"template":"","miembros_categorias":[50],"class_list":["post-2201","miembros","type-miembros","status-publish","hentry","miembros_categorias-affiliated"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/ilingua.uvigo.gal\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/miembros\/2201","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/ilingua.uvigo.gal\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/miembros"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/ilingua.uvigo.gal\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/miembros"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ilingua.uvigo.gal\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/73"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/ilingua.uvigo.gal\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=2201"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"miembros_categorias","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ilingua.uvigo.gal\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/miembros_categorias?post=2201"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
