I did a Master of Arts (University of Kansas) prior to my Ph. D. at the Universidad de Salamanca (2000).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My research in contemporary US theater focuses on plays by female playwrights and the representation of women in drama, addressing sexuality and gender, multiculturalism, migrations or ethnicity. I regularly attend conferences on American theater and have published on plays by Lillian Hellman, Beah Richards, Edward Albee or Mar\u00eda Irene Forn\u00e9s in academic journals or as chapters in different edited volumes on theater studies.
