He hold a PhD in Social and Cultural Anthropology, and a Degree in Political Science and Sociology, studying in Madrid, Santiago de Compostela and Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4. His research has focused on various forms of violence, particularly gender-based and political violence. In recent years, he has participated in several research projects on the training of professionals agents working in the field of women who have suffered gender-based violence, mainly focused in interpreters and translators, as well as other professionals in the healthcare, judicial, socio-assistential sectors. Projects dealing with the communicational difficulties and the training skills, such as: \u201cJUSTISIGNS 2. Empowering Victims of Gender-Based Violence through VET for Multiagency Actors\u201d (2019-2022, European Commission &#8211; Erasmus+), \u201cMELINCO. Linguistic Mediation for Development Cooperation\u201d (Xunta de Galicia, 2019-2020), and \u201cSOS-VICS. Speak out for support\u201d (European Commission, 2012-2014). He has also participated in various projects on vulnerability and victimology, such as: \u201cViDes &#8211; Unaccounted Lives. Refuge Spaces for Inhabiting Social Disappearance\u201c (Ministry of Science and Education, \u00a0I+D+i\u00a0Projects, 2021\u20132025), PROMEDIAR. PROMEDIAR &#8211; Prostitution and media: Construction of Reality and Media Reception\u201d (Institute of Women, 2012-2015), and \u201cWorld(s) of victims: Construction of victims\u2019 identities in contemporary Spain\u201d (Ministry of Science and Innovation, 2011-2014).
